About the Department
The Department of chemistry is an educational and scientific department that seeks to prepare teaching staff with a contemporary cultural perspective, who have the ability to bring about educational and social changes associated with the value system of society. The Department grants a bachelor of education degree in chemistry , so that female graduates are qualified to teach chemistry in public secondary schools. The graduates of the department are also qualified for postgraduate studies, conducting scientific research and working in chemistry laboratories.
