Cultural awareness to reduce drug outbreaks
The College of education for girls, Division Continuing Education in coordination with the Department of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs - Kirkuk and in cooperation with the Department of Life Sciences, held an awareness-raising scientific symposium entitled (cultural awareness to reduce the spread of drugs).The seminar included several lectures, which touched on the types of narcotic substances of all kinds, and their danger to humans, because they damage the cells of the nervous system and the rest of the cells of the human body in the case of addiction to them, which lead to the spread of crime because of its negative effects on the psychological state of the addicted person. The seminar aimed at raising awareness of the danger of drugs and highlighting ways to combat them and protect society from their harm.
