In the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Alwan Hassan and the Dean of the College, Dr. Nemeh Ali Ahmed, discussed the Master Thesis at the Faculty of Science, University of Kirkuk, a scientific study on the study of bacterial and immunological for patients of tonsillitis in the province of Kirkuk to the student Aisha Wassim Abdulaziz.
The study included isolating and diagnosing the bronchial bacterial species of tonsillitis, studying the sensitivity of some isolates that would indicate the optimal treatment line, measuring some of the dummy variables in patients with acute and chronic tonsillitis and measuring some of the immunological variables because of their role in regulating the immune response of infection such as TNF -a, IL-10, FGA, C4, C3.
The Gram-positive bacteria were more common for tonsillitis than negative bacteria with increased Moraxella Catarrlis-negative bacteria. The study also showed significant cellular cytotoxicity (IL-10) in patients with chronic tonsillitis and increased tumor necrosis factor (alpha-alpha).
She recommended that the treatment of tonsils in the stages of initial injury to prevent the non-eradication where previous studies have indicated a link between the removal of tonsils and a wide range of non-diseases.

The head of the delegation, Dr. Kazem Al - Jabri, expressed his happiness for his presence among a group of university professors who over the past few years have been able to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood among the components of the city of Kirkuk in different national, sectarian and ethnic sectors. Among students, in order to curb the spread of extremist Takfiri ideology, especially after the University was able to achieve the first place in the convergence of religions held in Baghdad last year.
Al-Jabri stressed the importance of the presidency of the University of Kirkuk in the establishment of the first intellectual conference in the middle of next month, in cooperation with the World Association of Religions Convergence and the General Secretariat to confront extremist religious movements, the Sunni Waqf and the Popular Front / North Axis.
The university's assistants also referred to the university's pioneering experience in realizing the concepts of peaceful coexistence and using the element of wisdom in dealing with the difficult conditions experienced by the country during the past years. The university has succeeded in achieving its objectives in this regard through two folds, About 40 thousand students from universities hosted by the University of Kirkuk, and provide the appropriate scientific atmosphere to complete their primary and higher education, and open the doors of the internal departments of hundreds of students. The second part is the establishment of a series of seminars and lectures of dialogue and intellectual students hosted in the various social, psychological and cultural aspects, in order to bring ideas closer and give the spirit of cooperation and peaceful coexistence with the components of the province of Kirkuk brotherhood.
On the sidelines of the visit, Prof. Abbas Hassan gave the University's shield to the head of the delegation in appreciation of his positions and efforts in strengthening the foundations of community peace in Iraq. For his part, the delegation dedicated a book of thanks and appreciation and a collection of sources, books and scientific journals of the University of Kirkuk.
