College of Science/University of Kirkuk organizes a scientific workshop on (the basics of scientific publishing)

In implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the presidency of the University of Kirkuk to develop the skills of graduate students and researchers, the College of Science organized a scientific workshop on the basics of scientific publishing of research papers in scientific journals and periodicals, in the presence of graduate students and a number of researchers.

The workshop, which was delivered by Dr. Susan Shwukr noori, a lecturer in the Physics Department, covered a scientific lecture on the electronic publishing mechanism, how to choose the correct scientific journal, the general structure of the research paper, the reasons for journals rejecting research and the conditions that must be met in research submitted to scientific conferences. The workshop concluded with some important advice on the basics of scientific publishing.
The workshop was well received and appreciated by the attendees because it included important topics related to publishing scientific research in reputable journals.
