The Faculty of Science holds a religious symposium on the Prophet's birthday

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University of Kirkuk for Scientific Affairs and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Ali Muhammad Tamim, the Continuing Education Division at the College of Science in cooperation with the College of Education for Human Sciences / Department of Quranic Sciences organized a religious symposium to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The symposium included two main parts, in which Prof. Dr. Thamer Hassan Sabr and Assistant Professor Dr. Omid Ahmed Muhammad gave lectures on the life of the Prophet and his fragrant biography, and dealt with his upbringing, great qualities and miracles that he carried, most notably the Holy Qur'an, the greatest miracle in that era that was dominated by injustice and infidelity. The lecturers referred to the words of God Almighty:  " We have sent you ˹O Prophet˺ only as a mercy for the whole world." (Al-Anbya, 107, Qurab.com). The lecturers stressed that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a bearer of the values of honesty, justice, honesty and equality since his inception, which contributed to the spread of the heavenly message.

At the end of the seminar, the emphasized highlighted the importance of celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which is on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, to promote the love of the Prophet and follow him in the daily lives of Muslims, and to transmit these values to future generations.
