A Faculty Member from the Chemistry Department Participates in an Educational Symposium at Kirkuk University's College of Pharmacy on the "National Security Strategy for Health Security"

Dr. Yamama Zuhair, a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, Kirkuk University, participated in an educational symposium organized by the College of Pharmacy titled "National Security Strategy for Health Security."

The symposium covered several key topics. During the event, Dr. Zuhair explained the concept of health security and its significance in supporting societal stability. She highlighted the critical role of health and educational institutions in enhancing preparedness to confront health crises and emergencies.

Additionally, the symposium reviewed the most prominent strategies adopted to achieve health security at the national level. It also emphasized the importance of ensuring a continuous supply of medicines and combating counterfeit drugs, while highlighting the vital role of the College of Pharmacy in preparing qualified professionals and advancing pharmaceutical research to help enhance overall drug quality.
