The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized an awareness seminar titled "The Dangers of Narcotics and Their Negative Impact on the Nervous System," as part of its activities aimed at enhancing health and community awareness among students and staff.
The seminar provided a comprehensive definition of various types of narcotics and their mechanisms of impact on the nerves and the brain. It addressed the resulting physiological and psychological damage, which may lead to addiction and the disruption of neurological functions, as well as the negative repercussions on both the individual and society.
