The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a workshop entitled “Unified Coding Mechanism for Academic Courses, Study Programs, College Buildings, Classrooms, Laboratories, and Administrative Units within the SIS System According to the New Recommendations,” with the participation of several faculty members and department heads.
The workshop aimed to clarify the newly adopted unified coding mechanisms and highlight their importance in updating the administrative and academic information system (SIS). This contributes to enhancing data management efficiency and standardizing procedures across the college.
The sessions covered the steps for implementing the new coding system for academic courses, assigning program numbers, and organizing codes for buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and administrative units to ensure accurate data entry and easy access to information.
The presenters provided detailed explanations supported by practical examples on how to apply the codes within the system, emphasizing that the adoption of this mechanism aligns with ministerial updates aimed at developing digital infrastructure and managing academic records more professionally.
