College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes Awareness Workshop on: "Harassment, Cyberbullying, and the Protection of Girls and Women from Violence"
The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized an awareness workshop addressing "Harassment, Cyberbullying, and the Protection of Girls and Women from Violence." The session covered several core axes, which included defining the concepts of harassment and bullying for participants, along with their various manifestations such as physical, verbal, electronic (cyber), sexual, and psychological forms. It further engaged in a detailed discussion of the repercussions of these behaviors across the psychological, physical, and social spectrums.
The presenters offered practical guidelines on managing instances of harassment and bullying, which included: openly addressing the issue, seeking support, meticulously documenting incidents, and avoiding direct confrontations.
The workshop concluded by underscoring the vital importance of instilling the values of mutual respect, cooperation, and tolerance to foster a positive and secure societal environment for all individuals.
