Awareness Lecture Entitled “Violence Against Women”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Mustafa Raji Aayed, the Women’s Empowerment Unit, in coordination with the Continuing Education Division, organized an awareness lecture entitled “Violence Against Women.”
The lecture aimed to shed light on the various forms of violence faced by women in our society, examine the underlying factors contributing to this issue, and outline the necessary steps to reduce its prevalence.
This initiative emphasized the negative impact of gender-based violence on society as a whole and on future generations, while encouraging collective responsibility and awareness to foster a safer and more equitable environment.
