College of Education for Pure Sciences Participates in a Humanitarian Initiative to Support Cancer Patients
A delegation from the Central Committee and subcommittees of voluntary work in the colleges and dormitory departments of the University of Kirkuk visited the Oncology Center to check on the health of cancer patients and provide them with psychological, moral, and material support.
Professor Dr. Salwa Jirjis Salman, Head of the Central Committee for Voluntary Work at the university, emphasized that this visit reflects the university’s social responsibility and its commitment to supporting patients in need.
The visit included distributing various gifts to patients, spending time with them to listen to their concerns, and alleviating their anxiety. The material support and gifts were provided through the voluntary contributions of the university’s staff members across all its formations, reaffirming their deep engagement with this humanitarian cause.
