The college works to advance educational and scientific knowledge to serve society, and the college aspires to become the best colleges of education for pure sciences in Iraq and the Arab world by graduating creative teachers who are future leaders and a source of creative educational and scientific ideas that contribute to the development of high scientific and educational capabilities in society. This vision is based on the realization that the role of the teacher has changed from that of a conveyor and indoctrator to a facilitator of learning, a manager of the educational process and a planner, and one who works to develop creativity, self-learning, and teamwork, as well as considering a quality and distinguished teacher as the basis for the success of the College of Education and the achievement of its tasks, taking into account that the College of Education for Pure Sciences has A societal, cultural and practical role that is greater than just the number of teachers.
Mission:-
The college’s mission is to build perceptions and take measures to prepare educational cadres and develop education at all levels in cooperation with the university’s colleges and relevant ministries. Direct tasks emerge from this mission, which are to prepare schools and prepare them on an ongoing basis. Promoting scientific and educational research to help produce knowledge in general and develop policies and programs that serve and develop society.
Objectives:-
1. Preparing schools through high-quality programs in all the specializations he teaches. He is proficient in his academic specialization, skilled in presenting his subject and interacting with his students, and works to create a democratic educational climate within his classroom and school.
2. Conducting scientific and educational research that produces real knowledge in addition to addressing scientific and educational issues, not to mention providing solutions to the problems faced by education.
3. Working to improve the educational and administrative process in the college in a way that contributes to achieving the college’s vision and mission.
4. Modernizing the college’s study systems and programs in light of modern scientific trends, allowing for raising the college’s performance level.
5. Adopting the concept of comprehensive quality and working to implement it within the college.
