Nursing College Holds Student Volunteer Event for Early Cancer Detection

Under the direct supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Hiwa Sattar Saleh, the Department of Maternal and Newborn Nursing—under the supervision of the department's faculty members and with the participation of a group of students—held a student voluntary awareness activity on the importance of early cancer detection.

The activity included providing health awareness and distributing educational brochures to the staff and students of the college, as well as designing an awareness poster highlighting the importance of early detection of cancer and its role in enhancing treatment chances and reducing its complications.

This activity comes within the framework of the College of Nursing's keenness to promote health awareness among members of the university community, consolidate the culture of voluntary work among students, and develop their role in spreading health education and serving the community.
