Scientific Importance:

Enabling students to obtain clinical scientific information included in the nursing curriculum and learn about scientific techniques and clinical skills and how to apply them.

Vision, mission and objectives

Vision:-

    The Basic Sciences Branch aspires to prepare graduates with high competence and skill in the basic sciences

Mission:-

    The Basic Sciences Branch seeks to expand students’ ideas and scientific and practical skills regarding the basic sciences that support their profession.

Objectives:-

1- The College of Nursing aims to provide the community with qualified nursing cadres capable of meeting the needs of community.

2- Providing nursing care in terms of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation to meet the health needs of the individual, family and society.

3- Using theoretical and practical information derived from nursing sciences as a basic basis for logical thinking.

4- Encouraging students through their participation in various scientific activities of intellectual creativity.

5- Enhancing students’ scientific and practical skills by enhancing their participation in seminars, conferences, courses and scientific research.

6- Implementing educational guidance plans for students according to the vision of the university and the ministry.

7- Providing methodological and source books for the scientific branch

Future Plans of the College:-

  • Approaching the university presidency to open specialized laboratories in the college.
  • Determining seminars and courses for the next academic year.
  • Determining graduation research for the fourth academic year.
  • Opening postgraduate studies (Master’s) for nursing sciences.
