The College of Medicine Holds the First Scientific Exhibition of its kind for Pathology

Under the title of the first innovative scientific exhibition for pathology and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Fakhrulddin Najm Nasser, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Kirkuk, and on the occasion of International Entrepreneurship Week, the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit, in coordination with the Pathology and Forensic Medicine Branch at the college, held an innovative scientific exhibition on Wednesday the 15th Nov 2023.

The exhibition is considered the first of its kind, and through it, the innovations of college students from various stages were displayed, including posters, drawn paintings, and various handicrafts, such as three-dimensional models, which linked scientific topics related to pathology and histology with various types of arts through explanatory means that facilitate the process of understanding the scientific material. The exhibition also included a scientific debate by forming two teams of students and asking several questions related to pathology and histology by a committee composed of the dean of the college and a number of faculty members. The winning team was chosen at the end of the debate, and as an encouraging step, the students were honored with gifts for the most talented work participating in the exhibition after they were chosen by the committee supervising the exhibition.

In addition to honoring a number of students who contributed to organizing the event by giving them certificates of participation by the Dean of the College, the Head of the Diseases Branch, and the Head of the Technology Incubator Unit. It is worth noting that these innovations made us conclude that college students have a creative side and a deep, sensitive artistic sense through which they can generate tremendous energy that they can benefit from in their entrepreneurial lives as well, in order to develop the educational and health aspects as well.
