Internal Medicine Branch
This Branch is responsible for teaching and training students in advanced stages on clinical diagnosis of diseases and how to deal with patients.
The Branch goals:
- Training the student to be able to take a medical history and examine patients in general by examining the various body systems (cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, and nervous system).
- Learning the student to be able to search in medical journals for a medical case he saw during scientific training and discuss this case through practical session and seminars.
- To help the student to attend the emergency teaching hospital and identifying medical cases there.
- To help student to see medical cases in the internal medicine wards, as well as the endoscopy and echo unit, and the psychiatry, Rheumatology, and dermatology units.
- Develop a plan to treat medical cases and how to conduct medical examinations.
