Thanks to God’s grace and success, the twenty-first session of the Council of the College of Engineering/morning study was held at the University of Kirkuk, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The session was chaired by Ms. Dr. Jelnik Akram Omar, Dean of the College, and President of the Council, in the presence of the Council members.
At the beginning of the session, the Dean welcomed the attendees, wishing them continued success in serving the college and making efforts to advance its academic progress.
The Council then moved on to discuss the agenda, which included important directives and decisions, including:
- The directives of the University President regarding the necessity of respecting the new timings for exams and providing an appropriate environment for university students.
- The directives of the President of the Council regarding adherence to the general appearance and accuracy in selecting members of the examination committees.
The council also discussed scientific and administrative issues, including Ninni’s request for academic promotion and extension of service for college teachers. At the conclusion of the session, the postponement of the academic year for one of the students was discussed and the appropriate decision was taken.
