Consensus of the Council of the College of Engineering at the University of Kirkuk
Headed by the Dean of the College and the Chairman of the Council, Prof. Dr. Glink Akram Omar / Dean of the College and Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of the Council members, the College of Engineering Council held its nineteenth session for the academic year (2023-2024) in the College Council meeting room,. In the presence of all the esteemed members of the Council, namely:
1. Dr. Falah Muhammad Ahmed / Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.
2. Dr. Majed Hussein Hamad/Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs.
3. Prof. Dr. Taimour Abdel Majeed Ibrahim / Head of the Civil Engineering Department.
4. Dr. Muhammad Adel Ismail is a replacement for Dr. Adnan Ajam Abd / Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department.
5. Dr. Hussein Kamal Anwar / Head of the Electrical Engineering Department.
6. Dr. Iyad Arab Ghaidan / Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
7.Dr. Sarmad Kamal Fakhr El-Din / Head of the Chemical Engineering Department.
8. Dr. Ali Saad Al-Din Abbas / Secretary of the College Council.
In addition to the presence of the rapporteurs of the scientific departments and the presence of the Director of the Quality Assurance Division (Professor Ali Ihsan Salah El-Din)
The session began with the Council President welcoming the Council members, wishing them continued success in serving the college and developing the academic process. Then, the agenda items were discussed and the necessary recommendations and decisions were taken.
The University College Council discussed the directives of the University President to the members of the administrative body, which included the following points: a directive to develop a plan to open up to government departments and institutions to enhance the scientific aspect in a thoughtful manner, and the necessity of following up on the institutional and programmatic accreditation of the colleges and submitting periodic reports, and coordinating the distribution of food baskets to students on the occasion of the month of Ramadan. And follow up and close restaurants in colleges during Ramadan days in accordance with official directives.
Emphasizing the necessity of developing a plan for openness with government institutions and private companies, inviting students of scientific departments to a group breakfast in Ramadan, adhering to the uniform specified by the Ministry, following up on the performance of teachers and employees, and not leaving the departments for personal purposes.
The Council discussed the defense of students' master's theses and provided approval for the acceptance of theses as part of the requirements for the master's degree in civil engineering.
With regard to scientific affairs, institutional accreditation requirements were discussed and completed, in addition to taking several measures to develop teaching and learning strategies and documenting sports and cultural activities. A student representation was also formed, learning objectives were set for each scientific department, in addition to preparing summer training documents and discussing bi-monthly training proposals for students.لبة.
