A Summary of the Continuing Education Unit


It is an educational, pedagogical and training unit that aims to raise the scientific and performance level of the facilities at the college servicing the scientific performance. It represents the extension of the efforts of the learning staff at the college and the university. It also represents an integrated system through which employees and instructors are trained to improve their performance and raise their efficiency. Besides, it is a window through which interaction can be done with various sectors in order to develop the human, administrative, professional and academic resources at the college in line with the newest developments and needs of the academic community.

Unit Tasks
1- Organizing Training courses in the various scientific fields in a way that meets the needs of the faculty members.
2- Holding seminars, discussion meetings and scientific workshops related to the fields of work of institutions and their specializations.

3- Nominating teachers and employees to participate in training courses that are compatible with their specialization.

4- Effective cooperation with various state institutions and directorates and the other governmental bodies for the service of the different community groups.
5- Preparing, organizing and implementing multiple training programmes that have an effective impact in serving and strengthening the relationship with the society.
6- Providing the required supplies in the establishment of courses, seminars and workshops in the college.
7- Achieving academic, scientific, cultural and social communication among the components of university life and its domain in line with the requirements of the society.
