English About History Department:
The department of History is one of the first three departments in the College of Education for Humanities. It was opened in the College of Education for Humanities when this college was administrated by the University of Mosul and before the establishment of the University of Kirkuk in the 23rd of January, 2003.
Visions and Goals of the Department
1-The department prepares the best teachers of History for high schools.
2-The department focuses on creating a generation able to construct a civil society.
3-The department aims to strengthen students’ sense of patriotism and offer them a general introduction to the world’s civilizations.
4-The department also looks for to deepen students’ sense of coexistence and taking advantages of other cultures.
