Academic Description of the Department
The Educational and Psychological Sciences Department program at our college seeks to prepare and qualify specialized cadres who contribute to the development of the educational process and provide psychological care. The department aims to provide students with knowledge and skills in the fields of psychology, teaching methods, and educational counseling. The academic description focuses on the study of learning theories, measurement and evaluation, and understanding human behavior in its various stages, which qualifies graduates to work as psychological and educational counselors, academic researchers, and teachers who possess the latest modern teaching strategies to build a conscious and balanced generation.

First Stage
It includes foundational courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Foundations of Education, Developmental Psychology, and Descriptive Statistics, to form a basic knowledge base for understanding human behavior and the educational process.
Second Stage
Expansion in the study of educational psychology, measurement and evaluation, social psychology, and educational curricula, to develop the student's abilities in analyzing the school and social environment.
Third Stage
Focusing on psychological counseling and educational guidance, general and specific teaching methods, and clinical psychology, along with the launch of field observation programs in schools for practical preparation.
Fourth Stage
The stage of field practical application in educational institutions (practicum), the study of vocational psychology, and acquiring scientific research skills through the completion of specialized academic graduation researches.
