Academic Description of the Department
The English Language Department program at our college seeks to provide a distinguished educational and research environment aimed at developing communication and analytical skills, and graduating scientific competencies capable in the fields of linguistics, literature, and translation. The academic description of the department focuses on enabling students to master the English language, both spoken and written, providing them with tools for literary criticism and linguistic analysis, and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application. This properly qualifies graduates to work in the education, translation, and institutional cultural sectors, with a spirit that keeps pace with modern cognitive developments.

First Stage
It includes foundational courses for language learning, focusing on comprehension skills, conversation, basic grammar, and a general introduction to the study of literature to build a solid knowledge base.
Second Stage
Expansion in the study of advanced grammar, moving towards phonetics, with a comprehensive review of English literature (such as novel and poetry) and supporting educational courses.
Third Stage
Focusing on linguistics, teaching methods, and a detailed study of dramatic literature and modern literary criticism, along with the launch of field observation programs to prepare the student educationally.
Fourth Stage
The stage of in-depth specialization in semantics and pragmatics, and translation, in addition to actual practical application in schools and the completion of academic graduation researches.
