Academic Description of the Department

The Arabic Language Department program at our college seeks to provide a rigorous educational and research environment aimed at preserving the integrity and eloquence of the honorable language. It aims to graduate distinguished scientific competencies in the sciences of grammar, morphology, and linguistics, as well as literary and critical studies. The academic description of the department focuses on enabling students to possess the tools of linguistic analysis and text criticism, and linking the authentic Arab heritage with modern knowledge theories. This qualifies graduates well for educational and academic contributions, and active participation in the fields of media, manuscript verification, and institutional cultural work, with a spirit that takes pride in Islamic identity and civilization.

First Stage

It includes foundational courses for Arabic sciences, initial guidance on the principles of grammar, morphology, prosody, and an introduction to the study of pre-Islamic and Islamic literature to build a solid linguistic knowledge base.
