About the Department

The Department of Geography is an applied scientific department, established in 2005 as an educational and research institution tasked with developing and disseminating knowledge in various fields of geographical sciences. It provides university education opportunities for students to prepare them with distinguished scientific training, supplying the Ministry of Education with outstanding teaching staff and providing state institutions with specialized technical personnel. In 2012, evening studies were introduced, followed by the establishment of postgraduate studies (Master's) in 2020 to further enhance the scientific level of students.
