Training Course on Manuscript Verification and Its Importance in Studies

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, the two-day training course entitled "Manuscript Verification and Its Importance in Jurisprudential and Historical Studies" began today. Organized by the Department of History in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, the course will last for two days. The lecturers introduced the concept of manuscript verification and its importance in reviving the jurisprudential and historical heritage. They noted that these manuscripts represent a treasure trove of knowledge that reflects the nation's cultural and intellectual heritage. A detailed presentation was also given on the methodological approaches used in manuscript verification, highlighting the most important challenges facing researchers in this field and how to overcome them using appropriate scientific tools. The Dean praised the importance of this course in shedding light on the scientific and practical aspects of manuscript verification, and noted that such activities contribute to honing the skills of researchers and graduate students and open up new horizons for scientific creativity. He also emphasized that manuscripts are a pillar of cultural identity, and that the role of researchers is to preserve and revive them in a way that serves the progress of science and knowledge. The course concluded with practical lectures. It focuses on analyzing examples of historical and jurisprudential manuscripts, with participants given the opportunity to present their contributions and personal experiences in this vital field.
