A new book has been published bearing a distinctive title that reflects its literary and linguistic value: "The Table of Words." It was authored and translated by Professor Ozcan Burhan Baqir, a lecturer in the Turkish Language Department. The book covers a number of tales written in Ottoman, a significant part of the literary and cultural heritage. The professor translated them into Modern Turkish, contributing to the revival of this heritage and making it accessible. The translator also highlighted the importance of this work in shedding light on the literary treasures of the language, emphasizing that the translation came after extensive research and meticulous linguistic analysis to ensure the spirit and meaning of the original texts were conveyed to the modern reader. The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, expressed his pride in this academic achievement, praising the professor's efforts and commending her contribution to promoting scientific and cultural activity.
