A Master's Thesis Discusses the Rhetoric of Request Styles in the Book of Nuzhat Al-Jalsa'a

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the Master's Thesis entitled (The Rhetoric of Request Styles in the Book of Nuzhat Al-Jalsa'a in Women's Poetry by Al-Suyuti d. 911 AH) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language by the student Aya Adnan Younis in the College of Engineering Hall on 9/2/2024.

 The study aimed to reveal the eloquence of the imperative styles of command, prohibition, interrogation, calling and wishing in the book of women's poetry by Al-Suyuti by explaining and analyzing these poems and clarifying their eloquence and standing on their metaphorical purposes and meanings and literary and artistic subtleties in them in order to influence the recipient and appreciate these texts as they are characterized by the abundance of different purposes and meanings in them. This study is the first in this valuable book in which Al-Suyuti collected women's poetry with the utmost precision from those who were not preceded by an author, and the study recommends researching other rhetorical arts in it from the sciences of rhetoric and rhetoric due to the abundance of these arts in those poems.
