Scientific Seminar Entitled (Training on Confronting the Challenges Facing Women in the Private Sector)

 

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Continuing Education Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, organized a scientific seminar entitled (Training on Confronting the Challenges Facing Women in the Private Sector), delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ban Abdullah Jumaa.
In light of the rapid transformations taking place in the labor market, accompanied by increasing challenges, the importance of empowering women and strengthening their role in the private sector has become evident, as it represents a fundamental pillar in achieving sustainable development and building a balanced and inclusive economy. Based on this principle, this scientific seminar aims to highlight the most prominent challenges faced by working women and to discuss effective approaches to overcoming them through continuous training and professional development.
Furthermore, the seminar seeks to provide an academic and interactive environment that brings together specialists, experts, and interested participants to present innovative perspectives and practical solutions that contribute to supporting women and enabling them to cope with professional pressures, social challenges, and organizational obstacles that may hinder their career progression. It also aims to enhance leadership skills, build self-confidence, and develop the competitive capabilities of working women across various fields within the private sector.
