
Assistant Professor Dr. Sakina Ali Karim, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, participated in the Fourth National Scientific Conference for the Digital Transformation and Automation Project, which was held in Mosul City – Al-Noor University, on July 19, 2025, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and attended by several academic leaders and specialized researchers.

The conference sessions addressed the most prominent challenges facing university institutions in the transition to smart education, and ways to develop electronic systems to enhance the efficiency of the educational process. Dr. Sakina praised the importance of these conferences in exchanging experiences and unifying visions among Iraqi universities. She emphasized the necessity of supporting digital infrastructure in universities to achieve comprehensive digital transformation. She also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education in keeping up with technological developments and implementing the government's program objectives in the field of digitization.
