The Assistant Dean of the College of Basic Education participates in the first international conference on peacebuilding in Iraq.

Dr. Sakina Ali Karim, Assistant Dean of the College of Basic Education for Scientific Affairs, participated in the proceedings of the First International Conference on Peacebuilding in Iraq, organized by the College of Political Science at the University of Sulaymaniyah in collaboration with the Center for Genocide Studies and Peacebuilding.

Dr. Sakina Ali Karim presented a scientific paper during the conference titled: "The Development of Constitutional Institutions in Iraq Over the Past Twenty Years," which addressed various aspects of political reform, corruption, and the role of institutions in establishing peace and stability in Iraq.

This participation comes as a confirmation of the distinguished scientific presence of the faculty members of the College of Basic Education in national and international academic forums, and as an enhancement of the role of scientific research in supporting peace-building efforts and establishing the concepts of citizenship and constitutional institutions.
