College of Basic Education – University of Kirkuk 
Under the patronage of the esteemed President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Division, the Student Activities Division at the College of Basic Education organized a distinguished religious event to mark the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. This event included a special competition for the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran, as well as a series of religious questions aimed at enhancing the spiritual and cultural aspects of the students and developing their religious awareness in line with the sanctity of this holy month.
The competition was held in the college's conference hall, amidst a spiritual atmosphere filled with tranquility and reverence. The participating students excelled in reciting verses from the Holy Quran with melodious voices, showcasing their skills in Tajweed and memorization. They also engaged with the posed religious questions in a spirit of competition and knowledge.
The event witnessed a remarkable presence of a select group of the college's professors and staff, who praised the efforts of the organizers and participants, emphasizing the importance of such activities in instilling moral and religious values in the students' hearts, and in building a conscious and cultured generation that carries the light of knowledge and faith in its heart.
At the conclusion of the competition, appreciation awards and certificates were distributed to the distinguished students, as an expression of the college's gratitude for their efforts and encouragement for them to continue on this righteous path.
