The College of Basic Education organized an important workshop entitled “Mechanism for Writing a Self-Evaluation Report,” which was presented by Professor Dr. Dhia Sarhan Khalaf, member of the Ministerial Committee for the Iraqi University Classification, and lecturer Dalia Badie Am, Director of the Quality Division at the University of Kirkuk.The workshop included the presence of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, in addition to the teachers and employees. During the workshop, the importance of writing a self-evaluation report in developing university performance and improving the quality of education was reviewed, and experiences and knowledge were exchanged about effective methods for analyzing data and preparing reports in a comprehensive and integrated manner.The workshop highlights the importance of self-evaluation as an essential tool for developing universities and raising the quality of education and scientific research. By understanding the mechanisms of writing self-reports accurately and systematically, workshop participants can identify strengths and weaknesses in the organization’s performance and develop strategies for improvement. This workshop is considered an opportunity for the fruitful exchange of experiences and knowledge between faculty members and staff and to enhance understanding and cooperation in the field of developing university quality.
