Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Basic Education organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Erasmus Programme,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Iman Muzaffar Abdulrahman. The seminar was held as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of international academic programmes and highlight opportunities for scientific and cultural cooperation among universities, thereby contributing to the development of the educational process and the enhancement of academic and administrative performance.
The seminar reflects the commitment of the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk and the Deanship of the College of Basic Education to supporting scientific and educational activities that broaden the knowledge and perspectives of faculty members, administrative staff, and students. It also underscores the importance of keeping pace with the rapid developments taking place in the international higher education sector, particularly in the areas of academic internationalization, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of scientific expertise and experiences among higher education institutions. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening the University’s academic standing and supporting its strategic commitment to continuous development and modernization.
