The seminar was held as part of the college's ongoing commitment to promoting scientific and ethical values within the academic community, fostering a culture of rigorous scientific research, and improving the quality of scholarly publications and research outputs in accordance with established academic standards.

The seminar highlighted the significance of scientific research as a fundamental pillar of societal progress and the advancement of educational institutions. Scientific research represents one of the most important means of generating knowledge, addressing challenges, and developing intellectual and scientific capabilities. Furthermore, it plays a pivotal role in achieving sustainable development and keeping pace with rapid scientific and intellectual advancements.

In light of this significance, research ethics emerge as an essential framework of principles, values, and professional standards that researchers must adhere to throughout all stages of the research process. These stages begin with selecting a research topic and defining its objectives, followed by data collection, analysis, and interpretation, and extend to reporting and publishing research findings while ensuring accurate documentation and proper acknowledgment of sources.
