The College of Arts Commemorates the Anniversary of the Genocide Tragedy of the Yazidis and Other Components

The College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk commemorated the anniversary of the genocide tragedy that befell the Yazidis and other components.

Following the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha and a minute of silence, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omar Najm Al-Din Inja, delivered a speech on the occasion. He emphasized that the Yazidis are a fundamental and ancient part of the mosaic of Iraqi society, and that remembering this painful event is a modest act of loyalty to this genuine component and the sacrifices and martyrs it has offered.
