A Dutch delegation visits the College of Arts

On May 11, 2025, a delegation from the Dutch organization "Peace and Freedom," led by Christina Masdam and including Salar Ahmed, Director of the "Jisra" project, visited the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk. The delegation was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omar Najm al-Din Inja, who provided a detailed overview of the state of coexistence and harmony in the province of Kirkuk. He highlighted how this positive social environment has favorably impacted the academic process within the college and the university as a whole, as well as its influence on the broader community of Kirkuk.

The Dean emphasized that the College of Arts has consistently worked to foster a spirit of fraternity among faculty members and students, promoting genuine citizenship and unity without discrimination, thereby serving the advancement of scientific and academic endeavors.

This visit underscores the ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation and cultural exchange between educational institutions in Iraq and the Netherlands. It aligns with broader initiatives aimed at enhancing academic collaboration and promoting social harmony in the region.
