On April 23, 2025, the Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Cultural Relations / Palace of Culture and Arts in Kirkuk, organized a festival celebrating both tangible and intangible cultural diversity.
The festival featured speeches and various artistic performances that highlighted the deep-rooted connections and historical relationships among members of the Kirkuk community in particular, and the Iraqi society in general. The event emphasized the importance of fostering love and harmony among all segments and ethnicities of society, recognizing their profound impact on instilling the principles of citizenship and patriotism.
