The Department of Arabic Language Organizes a Cultural Festival Celebrating the Great Iraqi Victory Day

On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a cultural festival to celebrate the Great Iraqi Victory Day.

The festival, held under the theme "Heroes Write History," included various activities. It began with a speech by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, followed by a speech from the Head of the Arabic Language Department, Assistant Prof. Dr. Kowistan Najm Al-Deen Enja. The event also featured a musical performance and a theatrical play titled "Victory Memories: Our Achievements and Dreams," directed and supervised by the Head of the Arabic Language Department.

The festival showcased poetry recitations by faculty and students of the department, poster displays about Victory Day, and stories of heroism and resilience. These activities glorified the great victory achieved by our security forces of all branches over the criminal ISIS organization and the liberation of our cities from the grip of terrorism.
