The College of Arts Organizes a Festival on Combating Drugs

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Omran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Omer Najm al-Deen Enja, the College of Arts, represented by the Continuing Education Division, in collaboration with the Department of Arabic Language, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, the Women’s Affairs Unit, and the Kirkuk Health Department, organized a cultural awareness festival titled "Do Not Let Drugs Paint Your Black End."

The festival included several activities, such as a workshop on the role of mental health in enhancing individual capacities and overcoming addiction. Additionally, it featured a theatrical performance written and directed by the Head of the Department of Arabic Language, Assist. Prof. Kawistan Najm al-Din Anja, titled "Do Not Place Yourself in the Jaws of Drugs." Moreover, awareness posters were displayed to educate about the dangers and harms of drug abuse.
