A Lecture at the College of Arts on the Importance of Human Rights and Rejecting Extremism

The English Department at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, organized an awareness lecture on Monday, December 2, 2024, focusing on the importance of human rights and rejecting extremism and racism.

The lecture, delivered by the Head of the English Department, Dr. Yousif Khorsheed, and Dr. Saman Salman Rahman, highlighted the significance of studying human rights and promoting awareness about them. It emphasized respecting others' rights, whether intellectual, linguistic, or cultural, and encouraged students to reject extremism and racism.

The lecture aimed to raise awareness about fostering an environment of love and harmony in society and to encourage students to embrace Kirkuk’s cultural and linguistic diversity in their studies and future lives.
