The Arabic Language Department Organizes a Discussion Panel and a Voluntary Activity

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, the Arabic Language Department at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, held a discussion panel titled "The Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a Symbol of the Authenticity and Identity of the Islamic Nation."

The discussion panel was attended by the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Omer Najm Al-deen Enja, who delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of following the Prophet’s biography in our daily lives and drawing from the noble character of the Prophet in our interactions across all levels and fields.

The Head of the Arabic Language Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Koistan Najm Al-deen Enja, also delivered a lecture on this occasion titled "The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as Our Role Model," in which she highlighted the significance of the Prophet’s birth anniversary as a time to remember the noble values and ethics of the Prophet Muhammad.

In addition, several faculty members contributed interventions during the discussion panel, including Dr. Saleh Ibrahim Hussein, Lecturer Safa Nur al-Din, Lecturer Shihab Ahmad Salman, and Lecturer Bilal Shafiq Abdul Rahman. The panel was moderated by Dr. Ivan Fahmi Hamid.

The event was attended by the assistant deans for scientific and administrative affairs, as well as faculty members and students from the Arabic Language Department.

On the same day, the Arabic Language Department also organized a charitable volunteer activity in celebration of the Prophet’s birth anniversary, attended by the dean. Religious books were distributed to faculty members and students to guide them on the values of the Prophet Muhammad under the theme "Following in the Footsteps of the Prophet."
