Associate Dean Donates His Doctoral Dissertation to the Library of the College of Arts

Prof. Dr. Saqr Khalaf Awad, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Arts, presented a copy of his doctoral dissertation, entitled “The Parenthetical Sentence in the Holy Qur’an,” to the College of Arts Library.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omar Najm al-Din Enja, praised this initiative, noting that it aims to enrich the library’s collection of sources and provide valuable references for students in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as support faculty members in preparing their research for academic promotion.

Prof. Dr. Saqr Khalaf explained that the dissertation was written at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, in 2006, and was later published by Jarir Publishing House in Jordan in 2014. It has gained wide recognition in both the Maghreb and the Arab Gulf region.

He added that two academic studies have been conducted on this work in the Maghreb. The first, by Moroccan researcher Sakinah Manari, was titled “A Reading in the Book The Parenthetical Sentence by Dr. Saqr Khalaf,” and the second was entitled “A Comparative Study between The Parenthetical Sentence by Dr. Saqr Khalaf and The Rhetoric of the Parenthetical Sentence by Dr. Al-Shawa.”
