College of Arts Holds Seminar on Combating Cyber Blackmail

The College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, through the Continuing Education Division, in collaboration with Qubad Foundation for Culture and Education, the Student Activities Division, the Voluntary Work Committee, and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized an awareness seminar titled “The Impact of Cyber Blackmail on Individuals and Communities.”

The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the growing phenomenon of cyber blackmail, often carried out by organized groups or individuals for financial gain or other purposes, mainly through social media platforms. The event emphasized the importance of educating the community and reducing such threats by cooperating with the appropriate security authorities to bring perpetrators to justice.
