Today, Monday, October 9, 2023, the College of Arts at Kirkuk University hosted a training course on managing examination committees, under the title (Work of Examination Committees), with the participation of a number of faculty and administrative staff members at the college.
In his speech during the session, the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Omar Najm Al-Din Angeh, emphasized the importance of the work of the examination committees. He also stressed the need to carefully select committee members, and for them to be experienced, competent, and honest.
The course included two lectures
The first lecture: Under the title (Dangers of Violations by the Examination Committee), delivered by Prof. Dr. Omar Najm Al-Din Anga - Dean of the Faculty of Arts
The second lecture: Tasks of examination committees, Prof. Dr. Sakr Khalaf Awad, and it will last for three days, and his dean stressed the necessity of controlling the notebooks and their number in the examination halls, and taking the necessary measures to prevent cheating.
The training course covered a number of important topics, especially the criteria for selecting members of examination committees, procedures for managing examination committees, and reducing cases of cheating during exams.
At the conclusion of the course, the participants stressed the importance of the training course, and expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the College of Arts in organizing it.
