Seminar at the College of Arts on Takfiri Thought and Methods of Addressing It

The College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk organized a scientific seminar titled "Takfiri Thought and Methods of Addressing It."

The seminar included an explanation of the most important foundations and methods for addressing Takfiri ideology through scientific and intellectual confrontation. Key points discussed included correcting misconceptions, dismantling the fallacies promoted by Takfiris, clarifying ambiguous concepts, and developing educational curricula by incorporating values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and acceptance of the other.

The seminar concluded with the necessity of immunizing youth and the rising generation by teaching them correct religious principles and utilizing modern means to provide moderate religious content to counter Takfiri propaganda. It also emphasized the importance of strengthening national unity and rejecting violence as well as sectarian or denominational strife.
