College of Arts Launches Awareness Campaign to Promote Values of Tolerance and Combat Extremist Thought

In an ongoing effort to bolster community awareness and foster a conscious, open-minded generation, the Department of English at the University of Kirkuk’s College of Arts organized an awareness initiative. The activity featured the display of a series of educational posters aimed at instilling the values of peaceful coexistence.

The posters highlighted the importance of language learning and its vital role in fostering intercultural understanding and contributing to the reduction of racism by opening channels of communication and bringing different peoples closer together.

The initiative was carried out under the supervision of the Head of the Department, along with a group of faculty members and students, serving as a platform to spread awareness and build a more tolerant and inclusive society.
