Department Overview Established in 2024 as the Department of Quranic and Oriental Studies, the department aims to qualify and train students in Quranic and Oriental disciplines. This initiative addresses the increasing volume of Western literature regarding Islamic methodology and culture, exploring the extent of Orientalism's influence on doctrinal (theological) matters, as well as highlighting prominent Western works and their role in publishing and authorship.
Vision To prepare researchers specialized in Quranic and Oriental studies who are highly qualified to conduct scientific research within educational and pedagogical institutions.
Objectives
To produce graduates characterized by professionalism in the fields of Quranic and Oriental studies.
To focus on both Eastern and Western studies, ensuring that graduates gain a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies and nuances of the Orientalist methodology.
To enhance the intellectual and philosophical capabilities of the researchers, providing them with extensive sources and information regarding Western thought, Islamic creed, and Islamic culture.
