Department Overview Established in 2024 as the Department of Quranic and Oriental Studies, the department aims to qualify and train students in Quranic and Oriental disciplines. This initiative addresses the increasing volume of Western literature regarding Islamic methodology and culture, exploring the extent of Orientalism's influence on doctrinal (theological) matters, as well as highlighting prominent Western works and their role in publishing and authorship.
