About the department:

The department was established with the opening of the college (2014-2015), in order to provide scientific and educational institutions with graduates who possess the linguistic and literary culture, allowing them to practice teaching in schools and high schools or work in the fields of journalism and other fields. Since its establishment, this department has enjoyed a distinguished scientific reputation within the college and university. In general, the college provides the capabilities to maintain the highest academic level, as the department provides a broad study and research program within scientific disciplines in order to provide opportunities for students of primary and postgraduate studies, and every year many original scientific researches are completed. In primary studies, the department provides the opportunity to obtain A bachelor’s degree by giving practical and theoretical lessons as well as scientific research in almost all specializations, as the subjects taught during the academic years qualify the graduate to work according to his specialty in the fields of work.

Department objectives:

Preparing distinguished graduate researchers who have scientific research skills and the ability to use modern technologies in the field of specialization.
Paying attention to the educational and moral aspect of the student, striving to spread the spirit of tolerance and dedication, and adhering to the etiquette of human dealing with oneself first, and the human being second, in accordance with heavenly laws.
Encouraging scientific research of distinguished quality to enrich knowledge in the fields of language and literature in the humanities.
Strengthening cooperation with civil society and linking it to the college, to achieve positive interaction with it, and identify its problems to find appropriate scientific solutions to them.
Continuous development of curricula and study plans to ensure keeping pace with rapid and successive changes in all fields.
Commitment to excellence in education, by providing high-quality courses that are consistent with global development in the college’s areas of specialization and appropriate practical training.
