E-learning unit

About the unit:

The e-learning unit is one of the units affiliated with the scientific affairs of the College of Arts. It was newly created for the academic year 2020-2021. It has defined the unit’s tasks, duties, vision, and goals, which are to monitor the progress of technical matters of the approved educational platform G Suite. The unit works in coordination with the ministerial and university instructions issued and Applying it at the level of scientific departments in the college, the college’s e-learning unit seeks to support faculty members and students and assist them in developing communications and information technologies to improve the level of educational service provided by the college to students and community service.

Unit tasks:

Supervising the preparation of electronic classes and meeting links for lessons at the college level.
Supervising the work of university e-mail for students in coordination with the university presidency and the electronic calculator center.
Preparing a central electronic follow-up room at the college level, which is responsible for following up on the progress of electronic lectures for scientific departments.
Submitting monthly statistical positions on the conduct of electronic lectures to the University Presidency of Scientific Affairs, which in turn submits these positions to the Ministry.
Addressing any technical glitches that accompany lectures in scientific departments.
