About the division:
The College of Arts contains a library containing sources and references in various specializations, most of which pertain to sources from the college’s scientific departments (Department of Arabic Language, History, Media, and Geography), as well as a group of general sources, theses, and dissertations. The number of classified sources in the library is (2,372) books and e-books. There are more than 1,500 books in PDF format, and the library contains a free education unit that provides approved curriculum books for college students.
Division tasks:
1- Providing sources of information in its various forms, types, and topics in accordance with standards and specifications approved for this purpose in a way that ensures that the needs of the beneficiaries are met.
2- Organizing information sources scientifically and storing them in a way that ensures access to them quickly, accurately, and easily and ensures their safety and preservation.
3- Providing library and information services to beneficiaries according to scientific methods, while keeping pace with technological development.
4- Activating the benefit from library resources, services and information provided by the library by introducing them and facilitating access to them.
5- Training and guiding beneficiaries on how to use the library and benefit from its information resources and services by preparing appropriate training and guidance programs.
6- Allocating a free education unit that provides the approved curriculum books in the scientific departments free of charge to students of all stages in all departments.
